Pennsylvania’s Third Annual CHW Conference will take place on September 23rd-24th at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center in State College, PA. Hosted by Pennsylvania AHEC. Registration is $275. CHW Conference Scholarships are for individuals employed as CHWs or seeking employment as a CHW and are available on a limited basis. Leadership Academy is a four-month, hybrid leadership program that equips Community Health Workers (CHWs) to translate frontline experience into policy impact—especially around Medicaid implementation, sustainable financing, and equitable access. Participants learn how PA policy is made, how to brief decision-makers, and how to track advocacy results.
PACHW’s Leadership Academy was incredibly valuable for staff to practice their public speaking skills and work with the PA General Assembly.
