The Annual PA Community Health Worker (CHW) Recognition (Rally) Day is an empowering day that unites CHWs across PA to advocate for CHWs and their impact at the PA State Capitol. This event is FREE for PA Community Health Workers (CHWs) and PA CHW allies.
Event Description: This is an educational, non-lobbying event. (See https://www.irs.gov/charities-non-profits/lobbying for more information on the definition of lobbying) Join us for the 4th Annual PA CHW Recognition Day! The event is scheduled for Tuesday, 10/20, from 9 am to 3 pm.
Leadership Opportunities:
Leadership opportunities include but are not limited to: Working a shift at our table in the Capitol; Dropping off literature to Legislators; and more. We will also be providing a voucher for lunch at the Capitol Cafeteria. Pro Tip: Wear comfortable shoes! You will be on your feet for most of the day. A prep meeting will take place before the event to go over the agenda and talking points.
