Educational Legislator Meetings: Legislator Meetings will take place throughout the event [Limited Attendance]

Pre-Press Event Gathering Location: The Civic Club of Harrisburg – 612 N Front St, Harrisburg, PA 17101

Pre-Press Event Gathering Time: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM 

Press Conference Time (Rally Portion): 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM
Press Conference Location (Rally Portion): Main Rotunda in the PA State Capitol Complex – 501 N 3rd St, Harrisburg, PA 17120

Registration Deadline: End of Day Friday, October 3rd, 2025 (To receive a T-Shirt)

Event Description: This is an educational, non-lobbying event. (See https://www.irs.gov/charities-non-profits/lobbying for more information on the definition of lobbying) Join us for the 3rd Annual PA CHW Recognition Day! The event is scheduled for Tuesday, 10/28, from 9 am to 3 pm. The ‘Rally(Press Portion)’ portion is scheduled from 12:00 pm to 12:30 PM at the Main Rotunda in the PA State Capitol Complex. In the morning, we will be gathering at the Civic Club of Harrisburg before walking over to the State Capitol for the Rally event. The time at the Civic Club (9:00 am – 11:30 am) will be used for networking with your peers from across the Commonwealth, creating signs to be held during the rally, and getting PUMPED UP. We will come together as one and celebrate and honor the work of CHWs.

Leadership Opportunities:

Leadership opportunities include but are not limited to: Working a shift at our table in the Capitol; Dropping off literature to Legislators; and more. We will also be providing a voucher for lunch at the Capitol Cafeteria. Pro Tip: Wear comfortable shoes! You will be on your feet for most of the day. A prep meeting will take place before the event to go over the agenda and talking points.
