David Wiles, CCHW, CHES has become the inaugural Executive Director of the Pennsylvania CHW Collaborative as of September 3rd, 2024. Before this transition, he was the Senior Community Health Worker (CHW) at Cornerstone Care Community Health Centers, an FQHC in Southwest PA, and had worked there for over three years. He served as the Chair of the PA CHW Collaborative Board of Directors and still serves as the Chair of the PA CHW Legislative Outreach Committee. He has fully embodied the mission to secure the sustainable financing of CHWs in PA. His vision is to establish a system where CHWs will not only be sustained but will flourish in their career while improving the lives of their clients.

Tomi Waters, D.Ed., is the Part-Time Communications  Coordinator for PACHW. For the last three years, she has managed CHW COVID-19 training and continuing education programs  for CHWs at Southwest Area Health Education Center, through a CDC grant to the Allegheny County Health Department. She has also served on the PACHW Advancement and Advocacy Committee of the PACHW  and completed a CHW Statewide Retention Study with her co-chair. Prior to that, she served as the dean of Academic Affairs the Community College of Allegheny County, managing multiple disciplines along with twenty-three Allied Health programs. She is excited to continue her work with CHWs in this position in a new CHW organization.
