As the Statewide Director, Outreach & Enrollment for the Pennsylvania Association of Community Health Centers (PACHC), Tia serves as the state’s Primary Care Association Outreach and Enrollment Lead for health center-based in-reach, outreach and health insurance coverage enrollment. She has over 25 years of experience in Medicaid Managed Care and Health Insurance Programs. Tia coordinates education, training, and opportunities for networking to address challenges and identify best practices for outreach, enrollment, and eligibility assistance counselors employed by Community Health Centers and like-mission providers in rural and urban underserved areas of the state. She works with key local, state and federal partners to optimize the impact of a “community of Community Health Centers” approach to enrollment assistance to offer more people the security of health insurance coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace, Medicaid, CHIP, and Medicare. Tia serves on several boards including the Pennsylvania Health Insurance Exchange, PENNIE, the PA CHW Collaborative, Central Pennsylvania Coalition United to Fight Cancer, CATALYST and formally served on the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services Advisory Panel on Outreach and Education. As a Certified Community Health Worker, she lends her experience as a trusted member of the Harrisburg community linking those in need with resources, education and information.
