Grant Funding

Grant Funding

Despite financing opportunities through Medicaid and Medicare, philanthropic and government grants will always be needed as a source of braided funding to finance CHW positions. According to the 2023 PA CHW Employer Survey, 51% of CHW employers indicated that they rely on grants to fund CHW positions. Over two-thirds of these employers relied on grants that were 3 years or less.
