Kristin works as the Manager of Community Engagement and Expansion at the Center for Inclusion Health in Pittsburgh. Kristin has been working with Community Health Workers since 2020 when Allegheny Health Network (AHN) hired it’s first CHW for the Urban Health Outreach program, focusing on individuals experiencing homelessness. Since then, the CHW workforce has grown to 20 CHWs. Kristin serves on the Sustainabililty and Legislative Committees and helped establish the Western PA CHW Community of Practice which evolved into the Collaborative. Prior to working at AHN, she spent 10 years at Pitt Public Health’s Department of Health Policy & Management and the Clinical and Translational Science Institute. Kristin was recently appointed to the Intimate Partner Violence Reform Task Force and the IPV and Health Systems Subcommittee for Allegheny County.
