Kristin works as the Director of Strategic Operations at the Center for Inclusion Health in Pittsburgh. Kristin has been working with Community Health Workers since 2020, when Allegheny Health Network (AHN) hired its first CHW for the Urban Health Outreach program, focusing on individuals experiencing homelessness. Since then, the CHW workforce has grown to 20 CHWs across six different programs. Kristin is active on the Legislative Outreach committee, advocating for recognition of CHWs as providers under PA Medicaid. Prior to working at AHN, Kristin spent 10 years at Pitt Public Health’s Department of Health Policy & Management and the Clinical and Translational Science Institute. Kristin serves on the Intimate Partner Violence Reform Task Force and the IPV and Health Systems Subcommittee for Allegheny County. She is also a member of the Food as Health Care Coalition.
